Application Principle

Vibration sensors work by using the piezoelectric effect. The core working principle is based on the positive piezoelectric effect, that is, when certain special materials (called piezoelectric materials) are deformed by external forces, charges of opposite signs but equal quantities are generated on the opposite surfaces of the materials. This phenomenon enables piezoelectric materials to directly convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, thereby realizing the perception and measurement of external vibration signals.


Application Scenario

1. Industrial monitoring vibration sensors are often used to monitor the vibration state of rotating mechanical equipment (such as fans, engines, etc.), as well as the vibration of components such as conveyor belts and rails. By monitoring vibration signals, fault prediction, state monitoring and health assessment of mechanical equipment can be achieved, thereby improving the reliability and operating efficiency of the equipment.

2. Building & Aerospace Vibration sensors can be used for vibration monitoring of buildings, bridges, aircraft, cars, ships and other objects. 3. Biomedical vibration sensors are also widely used in measurements in the biomedical field. For example, ventricular catheter microphones are made of piezoelectric sensors. Because measuring dynamic pressure is so common, piezoelectric sensors are widely used.
